Unique Magazines Celebrates Grand Store Opening – A Haven for Print Lovers in the Northeast

We’re proud to announce a major milestone at Unique Magazines – the grand opening of our stand-alone bricks and mortar store, now the largest print store in the Northeast.

What started as an online hub for magazine lovers back in 2002 has now evolved into a physical sanctuary for print—a space where over 700 titles live under one roof, from niche independent magazines to mainstream favourites you won’t find in your average newsagent.

Sarah Johnson, Operations Director at Unique Magazines said: “For years, customers have asked if they could come in and browse our magazines—now we’re proud to say, you finally can. We’re so excited to welcome fellow print lovers into our store. From mainstream titles to our dedicated indie room, and even a wide range of foreign language magazines, there’s something for everyone. Come in, take your time, and discover your new favourite shop!”

For us, print is an experience—something to be savoured slowly, without distraction. That’s what our new store in Swalwell offers: a quiet, curated corner where you can browse, touch, smell, and discover your next printed adventure.
